Pompei Pizza - Rocky Point

Personally I love this place, it's convenient, close, and the staff are always friendly. The food is not the greatest, but it does have an upper hand in comparison to other pizza stores in the area and the garlic knots are usually fantastic (fluffy and aroma blessing). Prices on the other hand are confusing, as the other week I came in, I asked for 2 regular slices of cheese and the total came to $9+...believing it naively I went to get more change; only to come back and the total came out to roughly $6. The owner was present during this whole ordeal and I was left puzzled, as it seemed that prices vary week to week and person to person apparently. Sometimes the pizza hits hard (tastes good) and sometimes it doesn't (stale and dry/hard). Garlic Knots 9/10 Cheese calzone 5/10 (plain and basic, not good even though it does come with sauce) White slice 6/10 (not my type of thing, I was just trying) Grandma slice (not shown in the image) 9/10, hits every time love it Ravioli 6/10 (too pricey and it has a bad aftertaste imo) Regular 7/10 (can't go wrong yk) Deep dish pizza 7/10 (it's alright) Chicken Parmigiana pizza 6/10 (it's alright, chicken on pizza is not ideal imo) The average price for a meal (1 person) is about $6 15 depending on how much you eat. Pompei is always an amazing choice for lunch or dinner, the pizza is out of this world!! The best i’ve ever tasted, it’s the sauce that makes it so good (it’s sweet)!!
