D Chill Spot - Rocky Mount

My sister and I ate here today for lunch. It was our first time and the food was absolutely delicious! I had ox tails, rice beans, cabbage, and mac n cheese. Great portions, I saved the rest for dinner. The owners were very pleasant and sociable. I will definitely be back! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30

What a great place! Stopped here on our way from Bel Air MD to Savannah. Everything about D Chill was on point! Warmly greeted by a very friendly lady. Service was excellent, and food was AMAZING. I got the chicken sampler and it was tender, moist and delicious! Plantains were cooked to perfection- not mushy or firm. Rice and cabbage sides were flavorful and wonderful. The restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere. Bathrooms were clean. You should totally give this place a try- you won't be disappointed!

This was my first time visiting D Chill Spot but it won't be my last. The vibe is fya, the food was delicious. These ox tails was tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection.
