Unexpectedly impressed! I just happened to be passing by, and was hungry, and looked on the map, saw good reviews. When I pulled up, I second guessed myself because the exterior of the location is kinda old, out of date, not very appealing to the eye so-to-speak.Anyway, I went inside. It’s CASH ONLY, but they have an ATM outside, and CARRYOUT ONLY. I ordered food for me and the family, and got a lot, enough for 4 adults and 2 kids for like $60 or something. The Philly Cheese Steak sandwich was loaded up with quality meat, seasoned great, tasted great. The BBQ pork, which is the Carolina Vinegar kind, definitely my least favorite type of BBQ, was actually really good to me, and I typically am not a fan of this style.I’m giving this place 5 Stars. The reason because this is Rocky Mount, the city of garbage restaurants, you usually gotta drive to Raleigh, Charlotte, or Wilmington to eat a tasty meal. This food was actually made fresh at the time it was ordered, it was made in a reasonable amount of time, it was nice size servings, it was clean inside, the folks very polite. Honestly, it kinda has a food truck vibe because the way it’s set up, but whatever, food was bussin! I stopped because I was hungry, but after eating there, I’d come back to enjoy some more of the cooking.

No complaints, not a lot of barbecue options but the pulled pork sandwich was pretty good. About the size of a whopper. Very reasonable prices. Recommend calling ahead, carry out only and CASH only
