Live Crawfish Seafood - Rockville

Have to give this place 5 stars to boost the rating.Easily the biggest and juiciest crawfish in the area (all DMV not just MD, I lived in DC/VA prior). Their sauce is more liquidy than you might be used to, but it has good flavor. The fire hot is VERY hot.Quality of crawfish this place cant be beat, please let me know if there is a place that has better craws. As for the sauce, I personally like the flavors at Hot n Juicy better. If you gave Hot n Juicy the crawfish from Live Crawfish Seafood it would be the best crawfish place objectively… without question..

We really enjoyed the food and were so pleased with how clean and airy the restaurant was. The decor is relaxing and the staff are friendly and efficient. A very pleasant surprise!

On to the fried catfish: it was quite thin, which made the breading overpower it. I suspect it was pre-breaded and frozen. The shrimp was slightly overcooked but still acceptable, and I have to say the oysters were quite good. So if you're in search of authentic gumbo, this isn't the place. However, the crab legs were fantastic!

Variety of seafood and drink choices on the menu. The Dungeness crab legs are definitely worth the price. I enjoyed the corn and cocktails as well. Clean atmosphere, friendly waitress. Table or bar seating.

It's a good place to try. There is plenty of parking and lots of space too. The servers were really sweet. They did seem a bit understaffed when we came but they did everything they could to make sure we all had a good experience The drinks were strong and tasty. Definitely try the Tokyo Tea! The food itself was fresh and the portions were big. I would say that the sauce is a bit more watery than other places I tried but it was still good nonetheless.
