7-eleven - Rockville

The Vanilla Iced Coffee is among my favorite beverages, and the service here is very quick.

I asked her to prepare some fresh, warm food—taquitos and Cattle Patties. She was very accommodating and eager to help, but being new, she wasn't quite sure about the cooking times. Unfortunately, the food she started preparing ended up a bit burnt. She apologized and asked if I wanted her to make it again, to which I replied yes. When I asked if she was the only one working, she explained that an older employee was supposed to come in at midnight to train her, but he hadn't shown up as scheduled. I could tell she felt really bad, and I reassured her that it wasn't her fault. The staff should have been there to support her. As it turns out, the other employee was just sitting in his car in the parking lot. I went outside to let him know she was waiting and needed help. Eventually, he came in and prepared the food, but it was boiled this time instead of fried, but that's beside the point. I really don't understand why he was late or took his time to come inside since he was in the parking lot the whole time I was there. To sum it up, Veronica is fantastic and is too good to be working there. I feel bad for her; she is such a kind person with great customer service skills, and she deserves a better work environment. It's unfortunate that she has to deal with the situation, as she's eager to learn but lacks the proper support and resources to succeed. The other employee's negligence put her in an awkward position. I firmly believe that one day she could own her own 7-Eleven franchise because she truly values her customers and takes pride in her work. I wish her all the best and hope that her colleagues step up their game. It just isn't fair to her. Additionally, I asked her why she chose to work at 7-Eleven, and she told me it's to provide for her children, which is the most important thing in her life. Thank you, Veronica, for your hard work and the pride you take in your job. You made my visit enjoyable, and I know you will succeed. I truly wish you the best and hope you find joy in your role, especially when you have supportive colleagues.

This place has consistently been reliable and convenient.

This 7- eleven always seems just a bit dirty. But they have a good selection and the staff is nice (maybe a bit on the slow side).
