Tokyo Bento - Rockingham

Tokyo Bento, located next to Sporting Globe at Rockingham City Shopping Center, offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. My friend and I were promptly greeted and decided to order from the menu rather than taking food from the conveyor belt. We chose a chicken ramen and a 600ml bottle of Pepsi Max, which totalled $16, and it was ready in just 13 minutes. The meal was excellent, packed with tender chicken and delicious broth. I apologize for the photo; I had already eaten half the meal before I thought to take one. I highly recommend this place!

After a few months of strolling past Tokyo Bento I finally got a chance to check it out last night and I was glad I did. <br/ <br/ I ordered off their menu, and ate of the sushi train and everything was delicious. The time from sitting down and ordering to eating was short, with meals being brought out very quick. <br/ <br/ The only small negative I'd say is it feels a little small inside but in all honesty that didn't really take away from the experience. I'd definitely return again.

The staff are friendly, the food is fantastic, and the prices are excellent. The two young chefs prepare all their dishes from scratch, and their homemade katsu sauce is the best I've ever tasted. Everything has an authentic flavor. My sister, who has traveled to Japan multiple times, said the food here is just as good as what she experienced there. Besides the katsu, I really enjoy their ramen, which has a nice kick to it that warms you up. The sushi train is also impressive, especially the pork buns. If I had to make a small suggestion, I would love to see a bit more seaweed in the miso soup. Don't forget to help yourself to the complimentary pickled ginger and wasabi. Overall, this is a fantastic restaurant, and I wish them all the best!
