The Sporting Globe Rockingham

Finally back to see family in rockingham. birthday meal for the oldest enkel. all six meals well. I enjoyed the chickenceasar salad. two had ribs, another porterhouse steak and two children's dishes.

We dined at the Sporting Globe in Rockingham with another couple and ordered the porterhouse steak. Unfortunately, the steak was full of gristle and not cooked to our requested well-done status, being pink instead. The chips on our plates seemed overcooked. When we brought these issues up with a manager, she acknowledged that the steak should not have been served as it was but did not offer a replacement or refund. Additionally, we were told that the coffee machine was broken and hot tea was also unavailable. We left feedback for the restaurant via email but have not received a response. We do not recommend dining at the Sporting Globe in Rockingham if you are looking for a good meal and service.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. I dined with a group of 12 and found it easy to order and pay using the QR code. While a waitress took our group's orders, we were able to pay individually after the meal. Some of the dishes were excellent, but the chicken wings were a bit overpriced. I found that some dishes, like the calamari with avocado, had too much salad and a limited amount of calamari - it was almost like eating a salad with a side of calamari.

Brooke and the staff at the restaurant were very welcoming and friendly. It was great to support a local business that made us feel so welcome.

Managed to grab a light supper at 9pm after going to the cinema. Easy to book a table and we even ordered our two platters of nibbles online. All other venues on Siren St close their kitchens much earlier. Go for the specials they...have one each weekday evening.
