Punjabi Indian Tandoori Restaurant

This is a large, brightly lite Indian restaurant. We enjoyed tasty samosas and chicken in chickpea batter for entree. For mains we enjoyed a goat saag and chicken dish from the chefs specials. Staff friendly and helpful. BYO wine.

On recommendation we visited this restaurant. We loved our visit here. The service was great and the food was spectacular. The menu was easy to judge and choose with help from our server. The facilities were clean and tidy and we were very pleased with our evening.

Punjabi is authentic Indian food, not a franchise that buys there curries in plastic buckets and heats up in bay marries all day long.

Had lunch in this place service was quite slow and I was the only diner at the time. Had to ask for my drink after I got my meal 20 min later. Curry was oki and the meat tender but flavour was average. I love Indian and tried lots of places this one is oki but not great maybe ambiance is better for dinner. Naan was fantastic though fresh and perfect will give them another go next time for diner.

Tasty meals, good service, relaxed atmosphere, excellent value. There were plenty of options. Everyone ordered something different and all seemed happy with their choices. BYO or bar service. Was a great find for a good, casual Indian meal.
