Zammuto Drive Inn - Rockford

Excellent service and fantastic food! We enjoyed burgers, fries, and granitas—everything was delicious, fresh, and fairly priced. Next time, I plan to try something unusual!

This place is definitely a must-try in Rockford, IL! The service was incredibly fast, and everything is reasonably priced. The "unusual" flavor was absolutely delicious. I opted for the strawberry and lemon Italian ice, and I must say, the lemon ice cream was the creamiest I've ever had—perfectly balanced, not too sour and not too sweet. Be sure to make this a stop this season; you won't regret it!

This is the only place I know of in the U.S. that serves soft serve lemon ice cream (with a twinkle dip). I've been enjoying it since I was a child—40 years and counting. It's simply the best!

I came here as a child, it bring so many fond memories. I love that their ice cream is all lactose free. Great service and food.
