Tnt's - Rockford

I absolutely love this place! In the past, it was known as Kishwaukee Tap and had a reputation for being quite rough, which made me hesitant to even step inside. However, since the change in management, the transformation has been remarkable; they've worked hard to clean it up over the last few years! I've visited three or four times in the past year, and each time, I was greeted warmly. I felt comfortable and safe, and I had a fantastic time. The owners are present every day and night, and the bartenders are exceptional! Along with serving some of the best bar food around, there are also darts and a pool table in a separate area from the main bar. This is perfect for when we gather as a large group for drinks or dinner. I’m not someone who goes out often, but whenever I do, this is always my top choice.

Between Jer and Brandi (a certified chef), you really can't go wrong with two of the best cooks in Rockford. The fish dinners are incredible, breakfast is out of this world, and the burgers are top-notch. As for the dinners—wow! You definitely won't leave hungry. The rest of the staff adds to the fun and keeps everything running smoothly.

The staff here is absolutely fantastic, and the food is outstanding! I enjoy dining at the bar and grill more than at a fancy dinner. The owners and management are among the nicest people I've ever encountered.

Great people, good food, reasonable prices. Can't go wrong if you are looking for a genuine blue collar, real people experience. Update: They're currently adding a beer garden which looks like it's going to be great when finished.
