Dr. Gyros - Rock Island

The food was amazing, but it appears that they may benefit from having an additional staff member on hand during busy periods.

I found another hidden gem in this restaurant. Their gyros are fantastic, and even my kids, who had never tried them before, enjoyed them. My husband was also impressed. We tried a place on the west coast before, but I was so disappointed. I told him to wait until we go to Dr. Gyros because they are amazing.

The service was efficient and satisfactory! The gyro and pita were average, while the fries were pretty decent. Nothing exceptional, but still good enough. I didn't dislike my gyro plate with fries, but it didn't wow me either. I would consider returning if I needed a quick meal, but probably wouldn't make a special trip to come back.

Great fries. Good hamburger with really good bun. Just right for lunch size. Fast. Friendly cook. Very friendly girl behind the register. Boy could she multitask! My order was juggled and absolutely correct, given as soon as it was ready -nice and hot. Very nice price for what I received. Couldn't finish it.
