Bidrage med feedbackReally good food, service and show. I was very pleasantly surprised. Dinner was hot, damp and delicious. Server coughed and worked hard. The Bootlegger and the show were very well done.
I decided that I had to cancel my rating :1. Sitting 5/5: As soon as we showed our ticket, we were immediately brought to our table. 2. Comfort of seat/view 3/5: Our group was a group of 4. I felt like I was almost in the process and in the way others try to go by. It felt very cramped. 3. Dinner: 3/5: For dinner you have the choice of 4 participants. Pig chop, seafood, chicken cord bleu or pasta. I had the ****. Potatoes and broccoli served as a side. I'm not a fan of Broccoli. With your duck you have the choice of salad with French dressing or cottage cheese. Add: 5/5: I ordered a cocktail, meatballs and the signature dessert. Honestly, I enjoyed my dessert more than my meal! The three add-ons were total $26, which I felt very reasonable. 5th show: 3/5. I was on this one. I'm not sure if it's more the game or the volume. I found some of the actors hard to hear. 6. Service: 4/5. Brad was our bootlegger for the evening. He seemed to have many tables, but was kind. So average would be 3.8 that I rounded my rating up to 4 stars. decent experience and would return if there was a show that interests me.
Big show, White Christmas... really good food and excellent service! Food: 5/5
Okay... I wish I could give more stars because our real experience was good. We bought tickets to see White Christmas as a birthday present for my mother. We thought it was a great place to spend an evening. It has been 15 years since we were in Circa 21 and thought when the place is still up and down, any previous negative experience must have been solved at this point. In view of the situation and the general lack of access to the big theatre in these parts, the show was good! We enjoyed seeing our waiter Brad on stage and the show had some outstanding numbers that were well done. Well done Brad! Unfortunately, the food was so bad that none of us could eat it. It's best that the food could be liked in the hospital cafeteria kitchen... but even that seems to be too much credit. Everyone ordered something else on our table, so this was not a scenario where only one meal was badly prepared, that was an ACROSS THE BOARD error. I'm shocked they can even serve it. The food tasted like it was sitting in a tank of oil for hours. The chicken picatta was covered in a congealed cream sauce with capers... the sauce served as just a vessel to cover an unworn, apparently boiled and sad piece of chicken breast. The potatoes were so overgrown that I spit them into my napkin. And don't let me start the carrots... he brought me back to the Bishops buffet in the 90s. The meal was lively. A friend of the family said she went to the show a few nights earlier, and the food was extraordinary... so could that have been a bad night? I can't get anyone who gets the same dish of food we had and call them exceptional, and if so, I have some serious questions. In any case, I see a dilemma. The show, the service and the entire surroundings were pretty good and it made an unforgettable evening for my family. The waiting staff was friendly and accommodating. We laughed a lot. But we wouldn't return for dinner alone. If we came back, we'd eat before and just come to the show. If Circa 21 were able to significantly improve their food service, it would be worth giving 4 stars, but nothing about it is really a 5-star experience.
Performance was fun and entertaining. Dinner was delivered cold (anyone for cold cooked maple glazed carrots that still crunch? . Entree was dry and tasteless thus a pasty sauce was used to mask that fact. Garlic mashed potatoes were inedible. Chef needs to worry more about serving something tasty rather than trying to lol and sound fancy.Dessert was served still hard and frozen.Would return if I could just see the show and not pay for lackluster food. I’m surprised it’s not mentioned more in comments.Parking: On street parking— very few handicap accessible spots to speak of.
