Shamrock Hotel - Rochester

It was a busy night in Shamrock, but we went early and the staff could fit us. Service was great. The mushroom Lasagne is really worth trying. It's different, but what a nice meal. Chicken carving was moist and delicious. We enjoyed our meal.

We had a different meal we shared. Everyone was very tasty. The roast pumpkin was a mixture of flavors and very well cooked. The salt and pepper calamari was very delicate with many excellent salads with a delicious dressing. The flathead fillets were also great. If you don't like crispy vegetables, you'd be disappointed. The venue was quite loud, but overall this is a place that always seems to have excellent food and I would recommend a visit.

Large menu with a lot to choose, including a really nice roast pumpkin dish for the vegetarians. The staff was polite food within 15 minutes. Great place for lunch while visiting the area to see the Silo artwork.

This restaurant is a large historic pub, over a century old, yet the menu is modern and current. We enjoyed both of our meals, and the beer was served cold. We would definitely return in the future.

A party of three enjoyed a lunch with a variety of dishes including pumpkin risotto, flathead tails with chips and veggies, and a steak sandwich. Each meal was generous in portion size and featured a great selection of vegetables. We were all impressed by the delicious flavors and reasonable prices. The chips were particularly outstanding. The coffee was decent. Overall, we highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.
