Silk District Pub - Rochester

Wow! Food, drink, people, terrace, atmosphere... I'll start with the beer. Beers you don't see anywhere, always a selection. Always check the valves. Amazing. The terrace? Look at the city center from here, nice. The people? Always smile. The chef shook our hand tonight. That's what I love. Seriously? I had almost everything. I'll give you the highlights. The fish tacos, best I ever had. The shells. Philly Steak egg rolls, hi. Burrata board, for lunch, snack, even dinner. Rib Eyebacon-Poutine?! Hold on! But really, if you don't come here and try The Stinger, you should beat yourself. Country roasted chicken in a buffalo sauce with shaved steak?! I'm hungry, just thinking about it, and I literally finished my meal. Do it. Come here, you'll love it.

My wife and I just had a great dinner here, the waiting staff was incredibly friendly, the food was to die, and the prices are great! We ate dinner on the back terrace and felt like we were on holiday with a great view of the river and the city center!

Great atmosphere inside and cannot look out. Something on the menu for all, personal favorites should be the Burrata. The prosciutto melts almost in your watering mouth. The Mozzarella and Soppresatta couple perfect with any number of wines on their extensive list, I had a Niagra Pinot Noir and a Chenon Blanc from my opinion it was South Africa(? the later, of which I was most excited to try as I had never had, it is crisp and refreshing with a touch of sweetness, which appease both a typical dry red drinker like me and the sweet white drinker. Check it before a show or as your main destination.

Great place, good food, great drinks, even better views. Beautiful outdoor terrace to overlook the water and a great view of the city lights after the darkness. The staff is very friendly.

Stumbled upon this place last night while looking for a place to eat before the Amerks game. It is in a tucked away corner at Corn Hill Landing but worth finding...thought my burger was one of the better ones you can find in Rochester.
