Bidrage med feedbackEverything is delicious here. Beautiful view of the river.
Live music, great service, and huge portions. Highly recommend, great for large parties as well.
I love veal saltimbocca(? . So if I see it on a menu I usually order it. Regret it here. The sauce was not a sauce but a thick dark brown gravy. You couldn't tell what was under it. Was it veal? Was it escarole..olives..very one note. Ick. My husband had lobster ravioli..lARGE lumps of dough with no flavor and a small sprinkle of ? Vodka sauce. We were with three other people .Our I'll was with tip and one drink a piece over $400. Nope.. will not visit again...oh we sat outside on a warm eve..view was great of the city and river..our waitress was great.
Excellent restaurant. Delicious meals, portions are big, good cocktail/wine menu and there was a live music when we went! Would 10/10 recommend, can’t wait to go back again!
The good: The food was tasty, well seasoned, and good presentation. The service is very good. All of the wait staff are attentive, pleasant, and well trained. A+ (My uncle was a successful restaurateur, so i know good food and service when I see them). It’s a really cute, and cozy place. Not too loud, and no “over the top” or cheap Italian decor here. The not so good: I docked 1 point for atmosphere because of the Kenny G elevator music. Too loud, and ridiculous genre choice. Nobody wants to listen to this, please do better. I also docked 2 points in overall score because I had a gift card but the restaurant wouldn’t allow me to use it. This issue took away from what would otherwise have been a really nice celebration of my wife’s birthday. The manager came over to explain to us why we couldn’t use the gift card (which was admirable). He explained that although there are 2 Pane Vino locations, that they had severed their relationship with each other. So the on the river location is no longer accepting gift cards from the Monroe Ave location. The manager pointed out that this is noted on their menu (I confirmed this is true). He also said that it’s on the website (which is NOT true). What IS true about their website is it is the same website as it always has been: with both locations on the SAME WEBSITE, with no mention of any change or their business relationship. Further, the gift card itself has both locations listed on it. So, how would I have known of this change? Obviously, there’s no way I would have known it. As a result my wife and I waltzed in there thinking, yay we have dinner (mostly) paid for, only to find out no, we have to pay full whack for dinner…on my wife’s birthday. Yeah, not cool.
