Had the Shimp Tacos, which were very good, and as you can tell, they weren't shy on the queso and shrimp.The food was only about a 10 minute wait, and there were 6 of us altogether who ordered.The waitress was very patient and helpful on food suggestions, also quick with refills.I love coming here to eat, especially after a long day at work, and would recommend a friend.

Really great service and authentic Mexican food. The margaritas were good and highly recommend Molcates!!

I recently dined at this fantastic Mexican restaurant and was truly impressed with the quality and flavor of their dishes. The aguachile, in particular, was a standout – fresh, spicy, and bursting with vibrant flavors. The perfect balance of citrus and heat made it a memorable and refreshing appetizer. Was amazing last time and this time were disappointing. We live 4 hours away but make sure every time we are in Rochester we come because it’s been fantastic. This time the food was ok if I am being generous. The shredded chicken had no flavor and tasted like it was in a pot of broth all day. The fajitas were not sizzling when they arrived and even worse had next to no flavor. The beef had a Smokey but no seasoning could not taste the difference between the chicken and a mushroom. On the way out we were talking with another family and they described the same thing with their fajitas as well so something is going wrong in her kitchen. The margaritas were great as always but the food has been missing the last 2 times and it’s a shame because we are huge fans.
