Bidrage med feedbackGood place for Penfield folks we go once a month deciding from outside (looks small and dark, but is really spacious and bright) personally I like the salads and gyros, good breakfast and dinner. Also nice staff
George's is a nice diner, it's always busy, so you know the food is good. This most recent time I was there, however, for lunch I ordered a grilled cheese which was rather expensive at $8.49 and adding ham to it was $2.00 more which I thought was very high considering it came with chips and a pickle. Adding an iced tea and replacing the chips with fries brought the total to $18.49, which to me seemed ridiculous for this. The sandwich was fine, but I wish I stayed with chips, as the fries were breaded, not the kind I like. I will go back though, but not for this sandwich.
This is an absolute Hidden Gem one of the best diner style restaurants I've ever been to just chill and eat the pancakes they're so fluffy I've only eaten breakfast here but I'm sure everything is delicious because everything I've eaten this delicious everyone is so nice and there's plenty of seating. I must visit for a cozy morning.
George's was able to accommodate our large party of 5 adults and 4 kids from 18mo to 7yr on short notice on a busy Sunday morning. Food was fantastic, service was amazing, and value for the money was perfect. Will definitely be going there again soon. Try the eggs Benedict!
I had breakfast for dinner at George's tonight. The interior is very open and it was clean and imaginable. The staff was polite and attentive. The food was as good as any other dinner, but what my wife and I had was on the brand and a little better than expected. I say I try. B.
