Genesee Brew House - Rochester

What a hidden gem! This restaurant has a spectacular view of the High Falls. The atmosphere is lively and bustling, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend trying the hot pretzels, buffalo pierogies, and their famous beef on weck sandwich. The staff is friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning when I'm in the area again.

The food and beer were excellent. The bartender was friendly and well-informed. I can't wait to return on a sunny day, sit on the deck, and admire the view of the waterfalls.

This brewery is a must-visit! They offer tours of the brewery, beer tastings, and a restaurant. We went on a Saturday afternoon and were told there was a 30-40 minute wait, but were seated in just 10 minutes. The menu was on the smaller side, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the pizza we ordered was just average and I would recommend skipping it. However, the sausage and mashed potatoes dish was quite tasty. The atmosphere inside was lively and busy, which we enjoyed. The service was top-notch.

Stopped here in front of a red wing game to eat a bite and a few beer. eating was excellent and of course the beer is cold and refreshing. it is not her typical bar-food menu. they are in the menu. we sat outside, which was a beautiful sight. it was very fast through the red wing game. future early on day of play, if possible. the service might have been better. in the entrance there is also a large gift shop! this is a rusty NY wisdom

We have been to the Genese Brew House a few times and the food is always excellent. This time was no different. We were seated quickly around 5:45 pm on a busy Friday night. On the weekends, I recommend that you get there before 7 if you don’t want to wait. We started with the Bavarian Pretzel with the savory Beer Mustard and Cheese. I tried the Brew House Pale Lager- a mild, smooth, and light beer. My son enjoyed the Genesee pint. My wife had the Harvest Salad for dinner and added Grilled Chicken. She commented on the freshness of the salad. I had the Special Buffalo Bleu Burger, a delicious burger that they offer occasionally with Buffalo sauce and covered in melted Crumbly Bleu Cheese. My son had a burger with cheese and bacon. We both agree this is one of the better places for a burger. After dinner, it’s always fun to roam around the large gift shop for various Genesee Beer memorabilia and t-shirts and hats. Love this place!
