If they are serving ice cream, get the Salted Caramel! It's the bomb!! Has a more fun name in Wisconsin, LOL, but the ice cream is the same!!

Great people. Great chocolate. Lovely town and great employees. The chocolate is some of the best I have ever had.

So this place is really more of a 4.5. It could have been a perfect five *but* the consistency of their ice cream is, well, inconsistent. The flavors and mouthfeel are incredible though. I sampled the flavors of the day, snap-o-lantern (pumpkin ice cream with gingersnaps throughout) and blueberry cheesecake, and got a cup of strawberry and salted caramel. The flavors of all four were spot on. The perfect amount of sweetness and richness, with no skimping on the mix-ins. Every bite was well-balanced, and the mouthfeel of the ice cream was wonderful. The strawberry and the snap-o-lantern, however, were looser in texture, almost like they were on the verge of melting. This didn't deter me from polishing off my bowl though, and I still thoroughly enjoyed the treat. The owner let me know they shut down ice cream for the winter (he said end of October was when it goes out), but I was happy to learn they serve REAL hot chocolate. I'll definitely be back for a cup of that

Local chocolate shop it stays open late in the summer for ice cream (our family's favorite). They also have free water for anyone! There's just a small seating area inside but benches and picnic tables outside too.

Friendly service, great salted caramel shake, and anxious to try my truffles! I need to go back for the chili chocolate bark!
