A1 Japanese Steakhouse - Rochester

They had an order wrong and wouldn't correct. The hostess was hostile and defensive instead of apologetic. I calmed the lady in the restaurant and tried to calm her down. The whole situation was backward from the customer service I am generally used to from other restaurants.

Great place, food is well prepared and comes out quickly, service was very good, and prices are very reasonable. Great lunch specials too. It's one of my goto places when I'm in the area hungry. Place is underapreciated

By far the best Japanese cuisine in the state. Great service staff, prices are perfect for the large portions. If you go the Soba is a really good choice to get, along with the sushi rolls. My family visits at least two or more times a month.

Best sushi in town BY FAR! Great food. Good portion. Great service. Reasonable prices. Dining in, take out, or delivery (via a delivery service). A true gem!

I love this restaurant. Excellent food and service. (The best chicken yakitori appetizer I have had! It is usually not very busy, which I also like. A hidden gem.
