Mr. Thomas' - Rochdale

I was really craving some fish and chips, and this place definitely delivered! I ordered the rag pudding, which was stuffed with delicious tender steak, chips, gravy, and bread. The portion of gravy was generous and perfect for pouring over the hot, fresh chips. For dessert, we all enjoyed a large serving of jam sponge that tasted amazing. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant whenever I visit Hollingsworth Lake.

I arrived home late after a long drive and was pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant open and able to accommodate us right away. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and incredibly delicious. It was like a taste of home without the hassle of cleaning up afterward.

Best chippy I’ve had in a long time! That Chinese curry sauce is somat else

The waitress was appalling. Totally disinterested. Took ten minutes to take my order. Failed to ask or bring any condiments. Did not bring my bread and butter and had to be reminded to bring my drink. On paying the bill was attempting to overcharge me by £4. I had ordered the Special which included a soft drink. Asked to see the manager who was non plused. Need to sack the staff. Will not return. The room was cold and lacks any character.
