King St Chippy - Rochdale

This is the best Chinese meal I have had in a long time. We ordered the set meal for two and everything was delicious. We received two portions of chicken and sweetcorn soup, prawn toasts, spring rolls, chicken wings, and prawn crackers. In addition, we could choose any two main dishes with either rice or chips, all of this for only £26! The value was amazing and everything was cooked perfectly and served hot. Last week we also tried their fish and chips, which was also great. The fish was large and the chips were authentic chippy chips. The only downside was the gravy, as it was not traditional chippy gravy and we didn't enjoy it. However, everything else was fantastic.

This is the best fish and chips place I've ever been to. The fish is always perfectly fried and beautifully presented. It's always piping hot when you take it home. I give it a 10/10 rating.

We had a fish and chips tea on Monday. Really good size fish beautifully cooked. Great chips and curry . Recommend to all !!

First time visit old school chippy but absolutely fabulous fish and chips. Definitely back for more.....

Have been coming to THE BEST chippy in town for quite a while now and it ALWAYS maintains a very high standard. Everything is freshly cooked so expect a litlle wait during a busy period.......don't be put off by the size of the shop. The staff are GREAT, efficient and friendly !!!!!
