Bidrage med feedbackI love this place. I 've never had something from here that wasn 't excellent. I always come back to the pasta alla vodka (penne pasta with prosciutto, onions, and creamy vodka sauce--it 's amazing). It comes with a salad, and I recommend the homemade sundried tomato dressing. No visit here is complete without the garlic knots. You can even get a plate for free just for 'checking in ' on Facebook. If you go for lunch on Sunday, you get a plate of complementary mini cannolis. The service is always good, and the owners are a wonderful family. You can 't go wrong with Sal 's.
The food was delicious and the price was reasonable. I ordered the filet mignon and sliced chicken breast with portabella mushrooms.The chef even made sure my filet mignon was medium rare as requested. My husband enjoyed the lobster con il mare with scallops, lump crab meat, jumbo shrimp and lobster ravioli. This was there weekend special menu which changes every week.We'll be definitely going back more in 2018 to try new food items and some of their staple menu items. Happy new year!
What a lovely time we had at our first time at Sal’s yesterday. My son is in LOVE with the steak and cheese sub and wants to come back weekly (it was not only tasty but also a substantial amount of steak). I got the sit down lunch buffet…from the salad dressing to pizza like I haven’t had since NY, and especially the garlic knots, it was fabulous. Stephanie took great care of us and the atmosphere is open, light, friendly and happy. A fun and upbeat place to get wonderful food! Highly recommend Sal’s.
I have been to this restaurant twice within a month and I can't speak more highly about it! First you walk into the door and see a huge display or amazing looking desert then you get your menu and Do not Miss Out On the BEST Garlic Knots around! Be sure to post your location on Facebook to get the garlic knots free! Ask for ranch to dip and they are ever better! The veggie pizza was good but better with the ranch too. We also enjoyed the Italian sub though I have to admit it was different than what I was used too. But the real winner here is the manicotti! The ricotta filled pastas were so good that I can't wait to have them again! The red sauce is very good and not overly sweet like some competitors. My husband had thw create your own pasta and got fettuccine alfredo witj Italian sausage and he loved it! My grandmother got meat lasagna and also loved it. Basically what I am saying is pasta is the way to go! The pasta dishes were far superior to any Olive garden dish! The carrot cake was also very good and moist and I would absolutely order it again! The restuarant is clean as well as the restroom. I also had GREAT service both times I went to Sals, the waiter is from the country of Paraguay and we got lucky having him both times and he is really friendly and genuinely cares about his tables and not just tips! He is very personable and goes our of his way to ensure a great dining experience. The only opportunity I saw at Sals is the table cloths were a bit too long for the tables and could create a tripping hazard mainly for the elderly. I had to take extra caution helping my grandmother out of the booth.
We are from NJ and have been looking for a good Italian restaurant. We found it at Sal's. The staff and owner were very friendly. The food was delicious. We will be going back for sure.
