Montano's International Gourmet

I entered the restaurant to have lunch with my friend at 12:40 on a Tuesday afternoon. No one greeted us. We had to find someone to seat us. We were sat in a corner booth in the back and on the right side of the dining area. A young blonde server can in and out of our area to drop off checks and clear plates for 3 tables around us while we sat there with only menus for 15 minutes. She never looked up or acknowledged us in any way. I even tried to get her attention but she never even saw me. After 15 minutes, we finally got up and left. I’ve waited tables multiple times. It takes 20 seconds to acknowledge someone and tell them you will be right back. Another more seasoned server came through our area twice and, again, never acknowledged us. I don’t recommend this place if you would actually like to eat something on their enormous menu.

Had the MOST amazing time 2 weekends ago. When we want to feel like we are in an upscale jazzy New York lounge atmosphere, we choose Montano's! When we want to feel relaxed, secluded and have an exotic escape to Brazil, we STILL choose Montanos. Everything from the wait staff, Friday evening entertainment, and the delicious food, you will ALWAYS be exceedingly pleased here. If you like seafood, try the Brazilian cod Segura style! We get fried green tomatoes as an appetizer everytime...oioh wee! Finally, the Mint mojito is the best I've ever had and that's my absolute favorite sip. Took brother and sister in law (from Tampa FL) here for their wedding anniversary. They had nothing but great things to say! Thank you LYNDELL for the awesome attention. (It was a very busy night and he still made our night magical)

4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our lunches here. My shrimp po'boy was delicious, and the plump shrimp plentiful. A very comprehensive menu, interesting specials, and an outstanding beer selection means we'll be back... whenever we visit our VA family!

We had the stuffed flounder with crab meat and ablue cheese filet mignon. Both dinners were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Had the charcuterie for appetizer everything is always great when we eat here. The servers are always wonderful and top-notch are experience here never disappoints.

Would like to thank Lenore for all the help with a 75th surprise birthday party for a family member on March 9th .Her selections of appetizers, and menu items were out of this world. Lenore went beyond her call of duty and we give her 10 stars!!? ? .Food and service was excellent. A thank you to owner for coming in to say hello and wishing a happy birthday to the 75 yr. old!!! We really enjoyed this restaurant and highly recommend.
