Big Lick Brewing Company, Llc - Roanoke

This place feels like home to me whenever I'm hanging out in Roanoke. That is almost entirely because of how wonderful the staff is (I don't simply mean the service, I mean they are genuinely a great group of people).But beyond the staff is a great beer selection (I'm a fan of stouts and sours, so I can speak for those), a comfortable vibe inside and out, and wifi! And there's almost always at least one person with a cute dog hanging around. They also get some good musicians in (and pay them a respectful amount)It's a great place to hang with people or to come solo and bring some work to do. Love it

Their stouts are amazing!!! Tried the regular and barrel aged. Barrel aged reminded me of a slightly lighter version of Old Rasputin Imperial Stout that I love. Service was great! Venue was great! You can order tacos from across the street at Tucos and they deliver. And Yes they are Pet Friendly!!!! We were traveling from Georgia to NY and will be back when we pass through again!

Loved it! Large selection of beers, and the bartenders were knowledgeable (BIG PLUS! . Food ball tableafe it fun and you can get food delivered for FREE. Will absolutely be back!

The outdoor seating area is awesome. The music is usually great. But the beer is not good! The seltzers are never carbonated enough either. I've tried many different styles because I want to like this place. My other 20-something-year-old friends feel the same way. In my opinion, they should try to figure out a couple of basic beers that are good then mess around with the fancy and experimental brews.

In Roanoke for a long weekend and this brewery showed up on the nearby list. Really fantastic. Tried a saison, hazy IPA and a Russian Imperial Stout. All were excellent. They have food service from 2 nearby restaurants. Highly recommended.
