Bidrage med feedbackI used to live in QC... Bagoong Club is one of the staple comfort food restaurants in our area. It's always packed in their QC branch. When I learned that they opened in Mille Luce last year, I immediately went to check it out. I was dumbfounded that it didn't have that much customers. Only 2 tables were occupied. I hope that it would gain popularity among Antipoleños because Bagoong Club has a good spread of comfort food. Their Bulalo Mongo is one of my favorites.
The food here is great except for the Mango Shake. It was quite disappointing, it tasted like Ripe Indian Mango instead of the normal Ripe Yellow Mango. :( We also had Kare Kare which is good, but need improvement too. :) Still a nice place to dine with your loved ones after church. :)
The food here is quite adventurous and pallatable at the same time. If you are looking for something new with your filipino cuisine taste buds try to eat here. And plus the atmosphere is great.
Ordered Crispy Pata Kare-Kare (Php 400.00)/good for 3 pax). The pork was crispy but lacked flavor, the Kare-Kare sauce was thick and rich, the veggies however didn't seem fresh. The bagoong saved this dish, it provided the saltiness which improved the taste of the sauce.
Bagoong Club is another pleasant addition to the array of restaurants along MLQuezon Avenue in Upper Antipolo. It is located inside the newest mall in Antipolo owned and developed by Manny Villar: Vista Mall Antipolo. I love their crispy binagoongan! Definitely a must try!
