Eggs Up Grill - Riverview

The atmosphere is quite pleasant, and the staff is friendly. However, the food leaves much to be desired. The steak and eggs were over-seasoned with a variety of spices that weren't mentioned on the menu, which caught us off guard. The steak had a lot of tough bits. The crab cake Eggs Benedict also shared the same overly spiced flavor. We requested crispy home fries, but instead received cold, soggy potatoes.

4.5 stars. The food service was excellent. Our server was attentive, and another staff member came by to check on our meal and overall experience. I noticed the server addressing a situation with other customers and handling it with urgency and a smile, which was impressive. As for the food at our table, we ordered the Shrimp Grits Omelet and a Loaded Homefry Bowl (along with a side of grits with sausage gravy). I look forward to returning to try more items from the menu.

Cute place in a nice plaza. I think like many other places they are short-staffed, and on a busy Saturday the service was a bit slow. My eggs were cold, but the flavor of everything on my plate (gravy, sausage, bacon, biscuit) was great! It's a good spotfor an inexpensive breakfast or brunch, and I think I'll give it another shot when it's less busy!

**Tampa's Best Breakfast Secret!** Eggs Up Grill is definitely the top breakfast spot in Tampa. My photos don’t do justice to the incredible presentation and taste of the food due to my allergies. As for the customer service—it's truly outstanding! The staff is always smiling, the food is consistently excellent, and the owners are genuinely engaging. They managed to thrive during the pandemic as a relatively new business, which speaks volumes about their dedication and quality!

I love this place for breakfast or brunch! I ordered the shrimp and grits with the omelet and a side of banana foster French toast. I opted for no cheese in mine and it was still great! I?m not a big banana person but actually loved the French toast.Definitely recommend both items on the menu
