Pepitos Mexican Restaurant - Riverside

I have enjoyed pepito for years on magnolia. I had the chance to try the new canyon crest location and it is great. they offer nice hours and eating is delicious.

I really enjoyed eating! Originally my group and I wanted to sit in the bar for a happy hour. the service was extremely slow in the bar area! it took minutes to even get a waitress to us. my group and I decided to move inside! it was the best decision we made. much less noise and better service. we were greeted down within few seconds! everything was modern and we could hear without talking behind the noises. I really enjoyed eating and mango margarita! overall I would give him a star when they sit inside!

When we arrived, there were two police cars on the parking lot that blocked us from the parking lot. the service was slow and no specials for taco Tuesday plus the margaritas are over price! we usually go to el torito, but we wanted to try this restaurant. when we drove to our car, the car next to us had crushed the front window and the police said that she was a stabbing.

After attending the festival of lights, we were in search of a place to have dinner. The food at this restaurant was delicious, especially the chips and salsa. We ordered Shrimp Fajitas, Salmon, and a combination plate, all of which were excellent. However, the standout was the attentive service we received from our waitress. She even brewed a fresh pot of decaf for us and constantly checked on us without being intrusive. She kindly refilled our iced tea multiple times, although we regret not getting her name. Parking was a bit challenging on a busy Friday night, and the bar music was a tad loud due to a door that wouldn't close properly. Despite these minor inconveniences, we had a very enjoyable dining experience and would definitely return in the future.

Very good food along with a friendly, attentive wait staff. My friend had a margarita and said it was one of the best. The decor of the restaurant could use some updates but we were there for the food.
