Zao Asian Cafe - Riverdale

Seems to be good, healthy food; very tasty; the only issue is that they don't offer seafood; had the chicken zao bowl and as expected, being an oriental restaurant, some of the chicken was grizzley and not lean as I was hoping for; won't go backFood: 4/5

My favorite thing to get here is the meatball bowl, but they were out of meatballs today ?. The chicken bowl was good though. Get it with everything on it!Food: 5/5

Jayse the line worker was very friendly and polite when we walked in. He had a bright smile on his face and was putting fresh food on the line. One of the best workers in this location. Gave me more rice noodles because they were almost empty.Vegetarian options: They have tofu and vegetarian seasoned vegetables that is gluten free.

Came here for a quick lunch and I have to say the food is amazing!The food is fresh, the service is top notch, the bathrooms are clean.It’s always exciting when you go to a fast food type of place and quality, cleanliness and service is top notch.I do want to give credit to their quality of service. My wife accidentally spilled one of our meals just the veggies off of it. A regular employee saw it on her lunch break and didn’t say anything to us she just went and told her manager and the manager came over and insisted we get a new meal.The level of integrity and service this location offered was incredible!Pictured is a bowl with half brown rice and the lo main . Steak for choice of meat (also offer chicken , tofu, meatballs) , topped with corn, broccoli mix, carrots, cilantro and peanuts.I mixed Two sauces teriyaki and chili lemongrass.10/10

The Asian fusion flavors of this place are phenomenal! I always get a bowl and switch between chicken and steak depending on my mood. Both are good. Drinks are unique and some of the best I’ve had for counter-style fast food. The tacos looked great, I’ll have to try those next time. Knocked off a star because for the price I’m paying I expect a decent portion of meat, which is not the case here.
