Yummies Cafe - Riverdale

I ordered the Jaz special on Doordash which should have came with a salmon croquette. It didn't. I got potatoes with onions instead. I don't even like that. And I tried to use my fork to cut a piece of pancake and I couldn't! i had to use a knife because the pancakes were so burnt! I never knew pacakes could be so tough to eat like a well done steak! I tried to go to this place in person a few months ago, and when I walked in, I literally stood there for 10 min. 5 min at the door and then another 5 by the bar/register area. I walked out. No welcome in or anything so I SHOULD have known what I was getting myself into then. But here I go giving them another chance on Doordash this time... NEVER AGAIN. smh

I've had my fair share of omelets across various eateries, but this one truly takes the cake!But the delightful experience wasn't restricted to just the food. The food is great! The first visit I had shrimp and grits, and this visit I had the cheese grits again (best in town! , with a salmon croquette and toast. Delicious! ? The lady at the register was friendly and helpful. The owner is warm and welcoming.

Today was my second time coming here!!! I’m normally too scared to continue to try new things on the menu. This place is amazing the food is 10/10. The first thing on the menu I tried was the Yummies Bowl the grits were cooked through and were not salty, the hash browns were great everything on my plate amazing. My Bf had the Salmon Croquette sandwich I tried to eat his food too. Today I had the Ultimate pasta and my Bf had the Chicken and French Toast again both our meals were 10/10. I tried to steal his food again as well as eat mines. I love the atmosphere, the vibes in there are amazing!!!!
