Riverdale High Lodge Knights Grill

I went to eat after finishing work, and even though their opening time is listed as 11 AM, I arrived at 2:30 PM and was told they were closed. It's very frustrating to be misinformed like this!

We always enjoy staying here. Rooms are great. Friendly staff. Good food at the Bar/Restuarant.

We waited more than an hour for our food, and the loud music made it hard to enjoy the experience. The prices were outrageous—$10 for a basket of onion rings that had less than ten in it. If you're on a budget, I recommend choosing a different place.

The rooms here are clean and the halls are acceptable. The service is deplorable. The man who answered the phone was surprised that I asked to make a reservation, which should have been red flag #1. When I arrived same day less than 4 hours later, I hadto ask another guest where to find a worker. Both employees seemed aggravated by my presence and the first thing the man whotook my reservation said to me in person was you 'll just have to wait. Finally, I was led to the desk where the same man saidhe had ignored my reservation in order to accept a walk in guest. When I finally got a room and PAID IN FULL, I was told therestaurant would be closing nearly 4 hours earlier than the advertised time. A little while after finding food elsewhere, Ireturned to my room and walked in on someone else the owner had given my PAID room away. He then sent me to a second optionthat was clean, the bed was comfortable enough. Both the ice and drink machines were broken.

I always have a fantastic time on the bar and grill side of this place. The service is consistently outstanding. Yesterday was even more special because we gathered for our school reunion (Go Class of '88!). We're thrilled that our entire school is still open and thriving, even better than ever. It's wonderful to see that all the best elements are still in place. Although the rooms have changed for the better, we can still feel all the great memories as we walk through. Thank you to the management and owners for keeping our legacy alive. Your entire staff is truly the best!
