Where do I start?! Yesterday I ordered 3 catfish dinners with Mac n cheese, greens and 3 small sweet potato pies. The food was TERRIBLE. The FISH was fried too hard. The entire edge of the fish had to be broken off . The GREENS were disgusting. Tasted like they were straight out of the can with either too much pepper, hot sauce or old bay. As soon as we took a spoonful we spit it out. The MAC N CHEESE was edible but flavorless. No seasoning?!! The corn muffin that comes with it was very bland and hard like it had been sitting all day or was rewarmed from the day before. It literally was stuck to the paper. These pies... They 're not made by them but they need to stop selling them. HORRIBLY DRY... As soon as we stuck our forks into them the entire pie lifted out of the tin! DON 'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I spent $70 on this trash. Today I went back to the restaurant with 1 of the uneaten meals because just in case they denied what I knew to be true and sure enough they did. First off the woman at the counter who puts on her makeup in the dark was very unprofessional. If I 'm explaining to you about the food your FIRST response should be I am so sorry! NOT Oh this is a first, we 've never had complaints! I purposely was talking low so other patrons didn 't hear me but no it didn 't matter. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.. Apparently all of us on Google and Yelp who literally had the same experience have messed up taste buds. I told her to taste it! It was uneaten and I brought it so they could taste.. Nah she didn 't want to do that cus she knew that food was hot garbage. Kept asking why didn 't I call. It hadn 't even been 24hrs since I was there. I didn 't need to call. I 'm here in person. I was only refunded for 1 which is unsatisfactory!!! Professionalism, hospitality and customer service goes a long way. They won 't be open for long!

Terrific catfish from this neighborhood soul food joint--and the candied yams are amazing! Fried chicken is good too.

I had a fantastic meal here in autumn 2019, but today both of their phone numbers are out of service. It looks like they are a casualty of the quarantine.
