Dolcestella Gelato&caffe

We had a nice vacation in Riva and wanted to end today with a typical delicious Italian ice cream. We had three cups of different ice cream tastes from DolceStella. And unbelievable, my daughter didn‘t want to eat hers. I tasted it and realized that ‚Mango‘ smelled and tasted like fish!!! My wife confirmed that as a third person independently. When I told the staff that there is something wrong with her Mango she tasted it from her container and claimed embarrassed and unfriendly that this tastes like fresh Mango. We left the location and our ‚ice creams‘. I was wondering how this could happen. My explanation: The gelateria belongs to the restaurant on the other side; probably they stored the ice cream together with the fish in the same refrigerator. However, an absolute no-go, top of disgusting. And the reaction of the staff very uncooperative and implausible. (Half an hour later and back in my apartment I still have that ugly taste of raw fish in my mouth. I am brushing my teeth now!

We stopped for coffee while strolling around. When I saw they had zabaione ice cream, I had to try it and I was not disappointed. Rich and delicious, it tasted like the best home made zabaione. Absolutely perfect. Try one ball, even if you are not hungry! You'll regret missing out on this ice cream.

We went to here during January 2020 when most of the town in shut, and more importantly all gelateria's are shut. The gelato was amazing, i tried the tiramisu ice-cream which was extremely rich. I highly recommend you going here you won't regret it. Other people in the group had the strawberry ice cream among others. Everyone had a great experience and surely you will be satisfied.

Nice clean place little choice in the pastry shop we were in the middle of the afternoon.

Local is nice, ice cream and good coffee, but the staff is not careful to take orders and service very slow.
