Brygga Restaurant Bar - Risoer

Risør is a beautiful small town in the south of norway, known for its many white wood houses. that is really the best place to sit. our heart was very good and so was the service.

Beautiful view, but tasteless fish soup and sleepy service. it looks like it's more a place to enjoy a drink with friends.

The building is perhaps not the most beautiful on in lovely Risør, but we decided to pop in. And indeed, lots of customers of all kinds inside. Families, couples, friends, youngsters' sports club etc. The buffet was unfortunately reserved for the sports people, but we...did not get disappointed. The dinner was good, swiftly delivered, and it was possible to choose among a number og different types of meals. Cosy, atmosphere too!

We recently ate at Brygga. The food was good. We sat on the patio and I would recommend this as the view on the harbor was really nice. The service was speedy and our waiter spoke great English. Go check it out.

Yes, I am 1.95m/6.6ft tall. Only 2/3 of the mentioned collection of food was ment for me. The chicken salad went to my spouse. Lets start from the beginning. Friday oct 14, 2016, we were on our way to Kragerø. It rained, the wind 12...m/s, temperature 2℃. Arriving from Stavanger with just a cup of coffee as a pusher for another 100 km. 150 mtr from the parkinglot we spotted a restaurant alongsite the harbour in the centre of Rissør. The restaurant Brygga on brygga/the quay was our goal. The distance was enough making us frozen. We were the only guests and it didn't take much time to get the menu in front of us. A bowl of hot fish soup did the trick and warmed my body. Very tasteful. My spouse couldn't speak with the warm chicken in her mouth. However a thumb went up. Both had a warm baguette alongsite. A delicious pizza was brougt on. I didn't see how I could eat all of it. However another non-alcoholic beer helped me. The waiter was a happy and quick young man. We experienced this visit as successful. Recommended!
