The Creag At Mclemore - Rising Fawn

Great food, amazing view, great service. You can't beat the view! Definitely recommend this restaurant if you are near Mentone AL.

Arrived after dark. Lighting outside was very low, hard to see where to park, entrance to the building etc. Food was Ok, but did not live up to the price point. Several restaurants in Chattanooga have exceptionally better food, at half the price as well as a much shorter drive! I can say I have been to McLemore it was just ok but I have no reason to return.

I typically don’t like to leave a negative review but I have to say I was very disappointed, as I had heard good things about the food. The dining room and the view are beautiful and although the two service people that we dealt with were nice, service was lacking. The dining room was not very busy and yet my companion had finished their meal before mine arrived. We ordered the hush puppies and the onion dip and they were surprisingly bland. The hamburger and French dip sandwich were also just OK, with the burger being the better of the two . Guess I’ll stick with the wonderful restaurants in Chattanooga! The view is absolutely gorgeous!

Post church lunch. The lunch menu has come a long way with good choice of salads, sandwiches and a couple entrees. We had the French dip sandwich with Brie; awesome! And, Fish and Chips; other than Fish being a little greasy it was large portion. Fries on both sandwiches were terrific. I really enjoyed my **** Mary. Nice and cozy on a gloomy Sunday afternoon! Thanks to Jaime on attentive, but not overbearing service.
