Ponderosa Steak House - Ripley

Wonderful experience. We drove out the way to come and it was worth it because there are no more Ponderosa restaurants near us in Ohio. The staff was attentive and the restaurant was extremely clean! A worker even wiped all ketchup bottles. Beverages were refilled halfway and the food was constantly refilled and refreshed.

Good food at a decent price. My family stopped here on the way home from Ohio. The steaks are a bit steep, so we opted for the buffet. They had a very nice selection of salads, entrees, and desserts. Will remember this place in the future.

This is one of the cleanest and best managed resteraunts you can stop at with your family. I previously lived in Raleigh, NC and we would always stop here when traveling I77. I now live in Hurricane, WV and I just stopped this past weekend with my family. The place is spotless and the waitress's are on point and happy. Just sit and watch the staff and you will see why this place is so successful. The man whom manages this place is always busting his hump cleaning and keeping the salad bar in check. He is obsessed with his business and it shows. The food is always fresh and ready. The steaks are amazing and the desert section is very nice. Stop in and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed. Again, kudos to the manager for being heavily involved and setting an example for his staff. They have my business!

I was delighted to discover this restaurant open. The food was quite tasty, and the staff was adequately attentive. The buffet had a nice variety of offerings. The ice and sherbet were excellent, so definitely try those, as they are located in a corner. I did find the prices to be higher than at similar establishments, but they weren't excessively so, so I don't have any major complaints.

Absolutely fantastic food! It was beautifully presented, fresh, and offered a great variety. The restaurant maintained a clean atmosphere, and our cheerful waitress really brightened our day. They even had sugar-free desserts... delicious! The shrimp cooked in the bowl was perfectly done, and the salad bar was fresh and delightful. With lots of smiles and scrumptious food at a reasonable price, it was a wonderful dining experience!
