Bidrage med feedbackWe had spent the day in Matera and returned to Rionero (my grandfather's birthplace) in time for the presentations of vignettes on the briganti that were held on the streets of this lovely town. After the shows were over, we walked to Il Cantinone for dinner for five of us. We arrived around 9:30pm and were promptly seated. One of the owners came to the table to review the specials and make recommendations. We had several pasta dishes, including a fantastic orecchiete. My veal chop was perfectly prepared (and was quite large). A bottle of the local Aglianico was enjoyed by all. Apps, entrees, desserts were bountiful and beautiful. The traditional Lucano pane was great for sopping up. The tab was only 95 euros. One of the best meals I have had in Rionero and I have been visiting Rionero for years.
Spectacular dinner at low price. the two owners of waiters, of great culture, are very beautiful and always ready to help for any advice on wines and places to visit. He deserves it!

Every time I spend an evening in this place is as if I had been friends...the dishes are all very good, home cooking very much like soups the first dishes and meat...the celiac always finds me the scarola soup and then I can choose between appetizers and simple meat but gouty kitchen, also good list of wines. good piano.
Rustic place in the center of reonerous. Menu with many proposals, but particularly focused on local typicalities. Scarola soup with just fantastic meatballs... because it's not stupid to make a good soup! very good rascals rags . price more than honest and kind staff. Try to believe!
