I saw, however, that in the baked display they have stored the cake on the head, above the cheese etc. sadly. does not have a negative bulge reaction. they have gluten-free sandwiches, did not try. would recommend it and go back there. 4stars because they seemed to be understaffed and the service could be better.
Kitchen closes at 6:30 in the next season, but they had gluten-free bread for sandwiches on the menu that I did not get to try. beautiful place for sunset and drinks, affordable prices.
I am a little confused from the other reviews about going there for dinner. They are more of a bar with light meals/appetizers. Definitely no pasta as other reviews show. When I asked what could be ordered gluten free they said they are aware and careful and wipe things down but that their kitchen had cross contamination. And that I could order anything but the bruschetta. This made me nervous so I chose not to risk it and go to another town (which was a whole other challenge to find somewhere with an available table). So I can’t comment on if the food was actually safe but thought this may be helpful for others to plan their visit according to their risk tolerance and hunger level.
A+ for the spaghetti ragú and a gold star for the most imaginative mixed salad. In addition to the standard greens, cherry tomatoes, carrots, corn kernels and olives, there were at least four kinds of seeds and nuts as well as pear, apple, and strawberry. And I think I forgot some!
