Bidrage med feedbackWeck’s is one of the best breakfast places in new mexico. it was crowded when we were there. the hostess told us that it would be 15 minutes for a table I did not believe, given the crowd, but it was about 15 minutes. the food was great and the service was also great. highly recommended.
Great brunch and friendly staff. my family got the new mexico eier benedict, weck deck, taco salat and zimtrolle. we all enjoyed our meals and the cinnamon rolls were amazing.
I have a Sunday breakfast here. I ordered french toast, eier over medium, 2 pieces speck, orange juice and coffee the price was ok given the portions. the server was pleasant and attentive. Unfortunately she was hard to hear how the server on the table next to me spoke with her customers abnormally loud. given the proximity of the table I was surprised that I had another server. eating was totally disappointing. the French toast came with 6 half-panes, a large part, and was pollinated with powder sugar. the discs were thicker than a middle piece sandwichbrot, but not excessively thick. I prefer French toast, which has evidence for the browning and these discs had very little of it. the eggs were barely cooked and not medium. the orange juice should be freshly squeezed, but it did not taste fresh. a positive note, the speck was sisable and perfect. this restaurant is okay for a traditional spk and egg breakfast, but not better than denny’s or village inn. However, it seems from other reviews that the hotter dishes that contain chilis and or cheese are pleased by many. the experience was made worse because the restaurant is very dark and dingy. I could see into the server area of my table that was a mess with müll on the floor. I saw a server drop on the floor and not disturb to pick it up. the tables were in terrible condition with pieces missing from the table top, so it is easy to scratch their skin. they see pictures for both. all of this with a man who touches my table with her hip while others sit. She pushed the table in me and my coffee cup my teeth beat while I drank. I looked at her and she didn't bother to see if I was okay or apologise. all in all the experience was less than pleasant and I can't recommend it. that said there is pitiful lack when restaurants sit to have breakfast (good or bad) in rio rancho. You may like it better than me if you like hotter or cold dishes.
What are local favorit? for breakfast and lunch. the dishes are unique new mexico. the hathbowns are fantastic here. they also have gluten-free options! I don't drink a coffee, but my friends say that the home coffee shouldn't be missed. the owners of wakes are so good people. I feel good to return to a local company that does so much for the local community. ?
This place was reminiscent of pre pandemic service and food. The staff and location were very busy...everyone was friendly, attentive and efficient. The food was fast fresh and tasty. The portions here are always on the large side so bring your appetite. The gravy on the chicken fried steak was flavorful. This place is consistently good. Keep it up!!!!
