Marco's - Rio Grande

I went there expecting to have a decent dinner but it was the opposite. Service was horrable, food was not good at all, and the owner was stupid. Ine of the worst places I ever been.

I was really surprised with the restaurant Marco's, now in a new location at a new shopping mall in Rio Grande. First, the entrance is dark, looks like a cave. Most of the tables are at a large room with no personality at all. Although we could order from the menu, which is basically the same for several years, we decided to try the buffet. That was a great mistake. Most of the food was buffet overcooked, food that has been in a heater for some time. The dessert table was excellent, which also was a surprise, because the restaurant never had a choice of desserts. The only thing that remained with the same quality was the service. I think the restaurant still has some potencial, just keep away from the buffet, choose the light of your table well, and relax.

Nice sourroundings. Piano players a bit OTT and food not anything speacial but pricey. However, not much to chose from in RG.

I had lunch at this restaurant and it was excellent. They have a menu in Enlish and a good winelist. Service is good. I can recommend this restaurant to people who are not on a tight budget.
