Bidrage med feedbackUm two melhores places to eat in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. 5 tracks.
Good seafood (but not only, meats are also available) restaurant with menu oriented towards big groups and families. Our risotto with octopus was really big and very rich in taste, we couldn’t finish all. Beer was very cold and very refreshing. Service is friendly and caring. Prices are ok for the quality.
I went there with my father his girlfriend for a sunday brunch. All the restaurants in Tijuca were full, this one had a big queue too outside. Our waiter were more committed in selling alcohol to us then find the menu. At instant, he decided for us. After while he came with a terrible spaghetti plate. I recounted the amount of prawns, they were 3 very, very small! The price was absurd for that kind of food. I decied never back there again. They still have waiters with the same bad manners of old times, the bathroon is impossible to use, the food doensn´t have refinement I´m preety tired of the noise of television, when I would love to hear what my close ones have to say. For 30 years ago this restaurant was a good place to stay. It seemed the only place where served fish in Tijuca, where isn´t a fishermen stronghold. Many studants from the Rio de Janeiro's State University got then dinner drinks there. Good manners of waiters wasn´t necessary this keep the costs lower. However the price nowadays is higher then the most of fine dining in Leblon the bathroon demands a reconstruction!
Thats the place where locals go for eating fish. Copacabana restaurants are for tourists. Come here and try the shrimp risotto. Or an apettizer of fried shrimp with garlic. Near Maracana stadium. Can be combined with a visit to the stadium. Click the thumbs up please so I know you read this.
Famous Seafood restaurant in town for its large portions of food. Some of their options, such as the shrimp risotto, are good for for people. We found it a very fair price. Try the shrimp pasteis . A must!
