Bidrage med feedbackMy partner and I went to lunch there when we arrived, there were a few people standing at the bar, some with drinks, some without, all saw as if they were waiting to stay. No one was there to welcome us, and no one was to keep at the bar, there was a man who went from table to table, in the restaurant who chat to customers, but not to serve and completely hidden. After 10 minutes another man came to us to tell us that they had no room. There was a table for 4 people who could sit 6 and another one who could provide 4 people, but was not deleted by previous customers, but did not sit any customers while we were there. There was a group of 4 people waiting at the bar, not sure if they were waiting to sit. I understand they were busy, but customer service was garbage. Can't write a review about the quality of food, and/or value for money as we 't get the chance to experience it. We had not expected to be forgiven, but a minimal customer support would have been appreciated. We like to go to small Ouvrier/Trucker restaurants, as in general the food is very good, genuine traditional French meals and not haute fancy cuisine. We definitely felt a stranger who just went into a feeling of the western bar! as mentioned in another review for this restaurant. Plain rude, they are obviously not concerned about it as they are probably busy with Ouvriers and Truckers every lunch. On a plus side, parking on the other side of the road. We went down to the next village, Rieux, and found a restaurant called Le Prieure, and although they were also very busy, 2 groups of 4 people and a few waiting to sit at the bar, we were welcome and warn, it would probably be a wait for a minimum of 15 minutes before we sit. We didn't interrupt waiting, we weren't limited. The food there was amazing and so was the service worth a detour, I would highly recommend the Prieure restaurant in Rieux.
For lunch with a French friend. Normal 4-course menu ouvrier restaurant. Was a choice of grilled ham with port sauce, or fillet mignon from Pork. We had the pig. It was nice. We had the 4 course meal, carafe red wine and 2 Kirs ever. The invoice was €14. I'd like to go back.
Only when we were in Redon, we realized that on Monday not much is open for lunch. We found this place. We came to find it filled with a shape and size of trucks, most of...whome had left their places and waited for coffee. I have the... the stranger who just went into a feeling of the western bar! There was a record we had. My partner had the steak and I got the hamsteak. Both meals were clearly presented, but of hearty proportion. The food was just good. It followed free cheese plate and as much bread as you would like. We could have had a dessert that looked like a choice of blood, mousse and a kind of cheesecake. But to be honest, we were full. This is a place to go because it is so not a place where you would normally go. The service was also great.
Went for lunch with a French friend. Normal 4 course "menu ouvrier" restaurant. Was a choice of Grilled ham with Port sauce, or Filet mignon of Pork. We had the pork. It was lovely. We had the 4 course meal, carafes of red wine and 2 Kirs each. The bill came to 14€ each. Will love to go back.
