Bidrage med feedbackI absolutely adore Playa Bowls, as does our office. I woke up this morning with a craving for their delicious bowls, but unfortunately, my order was canceled. Please, I beg you, do not let this happen to me again. The bowls bring so much happiness to my gloomy days. Life can be overwhelming, and having a magical bowl that lifts someone's spirits only to have it taken away could push someone to make a bad decision. Sometimes, something as simple as a fruit bowl can be the best thing for someone and may even save a life. Please do not take away my joy again. Sincerely, a disappointed customer whose order was canceled.
To whom it may concern, As a partner of a large franchise of a dermatology company, I am extremely disappointed in the service of the playa bowls in Ridgewood. The staff working on 4/27/23 accepted the order I placed then cancelled it after an hour we purchased and put in our order. Not only did this inconvenience us, it inconvenience the sales rep who provided her money to provide us breakfast. This order was $400 and previously accepted before, and now they decided after one hour of accepting the order that it was too much and they did not feel like making that many bowls furthermore the excuse of we weren 't prepared ... then why accept the order ? why wait that long to cancel the order ? The employees that answered the phone today were very rude and showed no empathy and not even an apology. The young ladt there said why would you think this was possible That was so rude. If 23 people walked into playa bowls right now to place an order would you tell them We aren 't making that many bowls ? This is bad business. Nothing on the website states we should call the day before to let them know it simply says place order on the website or with the third party delivery companies. As I scroll down the reviews there are plenty of reviews of how rude this one establishment is. I feel singled out because of my accent and how much I was trying to understand this policy that isn 't written. As a large dermatology group in the area we contribute a lot to this company but its horrible how this was done. when you cancel a order you do not get your money right away so now we are out of money to purchase another breakfast. Leaving us all at a loss.
My coworkers and I attempted to make an order online for delivery. It took over an hour and a half to place an order. I’m aware that’s not this store’s issue. However, the way they handled it was. I called the store because I was frustrated. I wanted to see if there was any way the store could help me as it’s difficult for my coworkers and I to go to the store, wait in line, place and order and wait. Well I called, someone answered, and hung up before I could even get a word in, TWICE. Calling multiple times and getting sent to voicemail, I finally spoke to someone. No apology, no attempt to rectify the situation, nothing except “we’ll we’re busy so just come in.” If I could have, I would have. I’ve worked in customer service for over 10 years and this store has no care for their customers clearly. I’m extremely disappointed. Update: My coworker went to the store to pick up the order. After waiting 30 minutes, she was told the order was never received. I called the store when my coworker returned and asked to speak to a manager. I was told she was busy. I told them the situation and they found my order. They said they refund me and before I could even get another word out, they hung up on me. This store is EXTREMELY unprofessional.
Good service lousy delivery. Manager did refund us for the grub hub person running off with the food and throwing it in the wrong place. It should have been placed in hand. I never received and the employees were disappointed. But we shall overcome. I cannot hold Playa Bowl responsible but appreciate the manager refunding me. Last time we will order delivery from here. Grub hub giving a bad rep to you guys. Thanks for being so professional.
Have noticed how minorities always have a hard time in this location. Particularly, the management always makes it harder for these individuals to get service even when paying, and the way management is handled. No one does absolutely anything about the complaints and they just brush it off. Truly disappointing seeing how racial profiling occurs in this place. I have openly reported them to the NJ labor and workforce as well as the Health Department.
