Bidrage med feedbackThe food was sooo good. I had the waakye with beef and stew. The shito was the best in Houston. You have to come and try their waakye. The staff is very friendly and really made us feel at home. Zongo is my new favorite restaurant for Ghanaian cuisine.
Me and my husband tried Ghanaian food for the first time and let me tell you, it was bomb! we had smokey jollof bowl with tilapia, the flavor is amazing and the food is made to order, so it’s fresh : we also had jongo juice and another drink, both of them had very nice, fruity flavor. Big shout out to Loriet (Nana , she definitely made our day by bringing such a great energy to the table. thank you for the experience P.S.: they have a buffet option every last sunday of the month, it would be a great opportunity to try different bites, so bring your fam.
They told us the food would be ready in an hour. When we go there it was at least 30 minutes more of a wait. The rest of the food I heard was ok. My greatest disappointments was the Jollof rice, it was very dry and hard.
Me and my wife drove over an hour to try this Restaurant...the lady that waited on us was very nice and polite. We enjoyed the food and it was our first time having Ghanaian food.I have the KONTOMIRE (PALAVA STEW) ,with FUFU..and a custom drink. My wife had KYINKYINGA KHEBAB (SUYA) SIDE....smokey brown rice was the side my wife chose, and chicken was her choice of protein...!I Love the fact that this is a Black ? Owned restaurant ???????..stay strong and keep cooking great food.
Absolutely delicious!! They cook to order so there is a small weight but it's definitely worth it.
