Yumi Cafe - Richmond

The next place to Kohl's where I could eat since I could eat late for lunch. Unfortunately was simply not impressed by the taste of the meal. Yarn was not the same temperature compared to rice and vegetables. Didn't complain to me because I was tired and hungry. But even when I reheated the left, they were not attractive. It won't go back.

OMG SOO GOOD.......GREAT portions the ice soup was something I never tried, but mine it was so good for the first time to come and it won't be the last 5stars

I ordered the chicken wings, they had no taste. The general Tso's and Sesame Chicken was hard and not good. The fried rice tasted burned. The best was the crab soup. I've eaten several times here, that was the last.

I've been here 3 or 4 times and they seem to be inconsistent, but the food is always decent except for today. The veggies were raw and crisp, like they were cooked for a few seconds. Very tough to chew and not the normal texture for Chinese food. The sauce also had a gelatin line texture in some places. I thought it was just cold so I heated it up but that gelatin like substance didn't turn into liquid. I didn't care for the taste of the egg roll either this time. I ate half and tossed the rest. It wasn't as good as it was the times before. 1 star for friendly person behind the register and 1 star for the price.

Family of 4: 2 adults, 2 kids. We ordered 1 shrimp fried rice, 1 shrimp lo mein and asked for hot oil sauce. Quantity was great. Price was reasonable. My only suggestion to improve would be to use pan fried, not deep fried shrimp in both dishes. The shrimp got soggy when we brought it home to eat. Hot oil sauce was very tasty and perfectly spicy. This is coming from an Indian that loves spicy food.
