Tres Machos - Richmond

While I didn't find the food particularly remarkable, my husband really enjoyed this restaurant. The freshly made guacamole was a nice addition and quite delicious. When they say they can make it spicy, they really mean it!

What an amazing place to enjoy a drink! I had a cantarito loco, and I would absolutely come back for another one. Highly recommended!

Transformative experience! This Mexican restaurant not only serves authentic cuisine but is also operated primarily by Mexicans, enveloping guests in a true cultural atmosphere, complete with lively banda music. I always appreciate hearing the music of the culture when dining at an ethnic establishment, rather than the Western tunes I can encounter anywhere. An added advantage for me is the opportunity to practice my Spanish; even though the staff spoke to me in English, I was able to converse with them in Spanish. The food was exceptional, and the service was equally impressive. Though it was a peaceful lunchtime, the staff was attentive and welcoming.

Order a 4 taco salads for lunch and the shells on all of them had an obvious taste of a cleaning product! When we called to let them know they wanted us to bring them back so they could make more?. So we can eat more soap or disinfectant.. I don?t think so. We are nurses so having the ability to go back up to pick up new ones is nearly impossible. It should of been good to begin with. None of us will return unless we run out of disinfect to clean.

My food wasn?t good. I placed a take out order. I threw the shrimp nachos out. The shrimp was very dry and tasted like it might have been freezer burned or old and unclean. The empanada crust was very good but the chicken was dry and bland. I wouldn?t try either of these dishes again.
