Tokyo Express Hibachi And Sushi

This was some of the best sushi I’ve ever tasted. Although the service was quite slow, it was absolutely worth the wait, and their prices are incredibly reasonable.

I ordered the chicken bento with high hopes, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. While the dumplings were flavorful, the rest of the dish was quite bland, and I had to drown it in soy sauce—something I generally try to avoid. The chicken tasted a bit stale, and the carrots had an odd, plastic-like smell. I really question what the people who wrote glowing reviews about this place were eating, because it definitely wasn't the same meal I had.

Overall, the Japanese food here is quite good for Kentucky. While it doesn't quite match up to what you’d find in a city with a larger Asian community, like Los Angeles, it's fresh, flavorful, and a nice alternative to greasy fast food. The restaurant operates as a walk-up counter service, which was perfect for me during my business trip.

Always great customer service and food.To go orders are almost always ready and if not they are ready with a couple of minutes. A delivery drivers money maker. I love when the orders are ready when I arrive, less time waiting for order means I can make more money by being able to grab more orders.Tip your delivery drivers. Gas prices are killing us. :
