The Hop Craft Pizza Beer - Richmond

I?ve seen in other reviews as well that, the manager or owner, I believe, is very rude. We arrived around 8pm. It was a group of 10 people. We looked online and there is nothing that says anything about ordering ahead for large groups of people. We got there and saw that there were empty tables and chairs so we decided to put together some tables to keep our party together and have the kids sit down with the parents and place our stuff down while we ordered. The place is great and we were pleasantly surprised with the experience. There is a beer shop connected with the restaurant. The beer selection is vast and diverse. The food is great and the service is decent. The outside seating area is wonderful. The parking area is very, very small so you may need to park on the street within a residential neighborhood.

Ordered the Vegan Unmoo Frankenpizza. The Sicilian crust was perfect and thick. The vegan cheese, pepperoni, and Italian sausage were all delicious toppings. 1st time ordering pizza from here and it definitely won't be the last.

First time so was surprised by the presentation overall. Burned crust on one end of the pizza. The garlic bread was completely burnt with the crust almost rock hard; looked almost artificial. Pizza was on par with chains but with better toppings with dough a bit more airy and not as greasy. On par with Pizza Hut in its heyday. Sorta bummed for $38ish bucks with the appetizer and part of pizza torched. Overall if size is the name of the game prob come here pizza was huge.

Visiting from Ohio. Staff working this afternoon was super chill and we started talking about tattoos ???? Ordred a Calzone and a draft beer (which i was allowed to sample first). Calzone came out and it was HUGE. Crust was soft and the cheese inside was a good blend. I'll probably be back for a drink later on before I go back home.
