Tarrant's Downtown - Richmond

It's fantastic to see Tarrant's open again after the pandemic. The lively atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service are just as I remembered! I had the sailor sandwich for lunch, and it was one of the best I've had in a while. The slaw was a bit on the saucy side for my taste, but it was really flavorful. Overall, it's a wonderful spot right on Broad Street in downtown Richmond. I had another great lunch there! I also tried the 'Rachel' sandwich, which came with a side salad and onion straws (delicious!). Be sure to check them out! Enjoy!

Went for Brunch; it had a great atmosphere. We sat at the bar by choice! Cocktails were delicious, food was delicious and service was great! It's a very cute rustic place to have brunch with a friend and sit at the bar or with a group of friends and be seated! I definitely recommend! I really enjoyed! Bartender was very sweet and attentive!

While staying downtown and exploring the area, I came across this restaurant. The interior was lovely, and I was warmly welcomed and seated in a cozy booth. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I started with the hummus, which was delightful—not just a simple plate of hummus, but accompanied by olives, tomatoes, celery, carrots, crackers, peppers, and pita. I also tried a cup of crab soup, which was fantastic, as well as the Health Bowl salad. Everything was delicious. The She Crab soup truly lives up to its reputation—it's award-winning. And the garlic bread? Simply exceptional! It was served on a plate drizzled with olive oil. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!

This restaurant is a definite must-visit! We were in town for a wedding in early October, and our hosts organized an early Sunday afternoon brunch at Tarrant's Cafe. Upon arrival, they served each table a basket of warm cinnamon rolls that were absolutely delicious! The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, with many patrons who appeared to be regulars. The menu was extensive, offering a wide variety of options for all meals. Just a note, they close for a brief period before dinner service. The full bar was well stocked, and our entrées were expertly prepared.

Our server, KeKe, was amazing! We had a wonderful table by the window that was perfect for our group. We felt so comfortable and had a fantastic time. The food was excellent! We can't wait to return.
