Smohk Rva Bbq - Richmond

With such an incognito entrance, I did not initially expect Smohk to have such delicious food. But I was fortunately mistaken! Their pulled pork was awesome, but what I really enjoyed was the brisket sandwich! Served alongside chips and my choice of bbq sauce, it made me return right back to order more the next day.

I just moved to the NC VA area from Austin, TX. This brisket was amazing. I ordered a brisket sandwich and it was a GENEROUS portion (roughly 6 ounces!! Coleslaw was awesome (creamy yet slightly acidic with some celery seeds to mute it). The buns soaked up some of the brisket renderings phenomenally. I highly recommend ordering from here.

Roby and his team provided an excellent all-around experience that lived up to it's friendly, laid-back claim. I appreciated getting to see the smoker out front.Our brisket platters were excellent. Between us we sampled four sides and found each had great flavor.Will stop here next time we're in Scott's Addition.

We reached out to Smohk to cater a family birthday party and I’m grateful we did. It was worth every penny!From start to finish, we experienced hospitable guidance about portions, kind customer service, timely delivery, a great presentation, and most importantly, excellent food.

First time visitor, and they were short staffed. But the little bit of wait was worth it! We did a pulled pork sandwich with the smoked Mac and cheese, and a slider trio(pork, turkey and brisket) with baked bean sides. Everything was outstanding! Moved up to the top end of my personal"Best BBQ in RVA list. Will definitely get Smohk-ed again!
